Basingstoke B&Q is currently closed to members of the public.
The store is undergoing a deep clean after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.
A spokesman for the Lister Road store confirmed they would be reopening later today but they didn't know when.
The spokesman said the branch is following guidance from Public Health England and the latest government advice to ensure they are able to reopen safely.
Members of the public hoping to carry out a little DIY were left confused when they tried to turn up to the shop today.
One man said: "I popped up to B&Q to get a few bits and pieces and spotted the sign on the door saying it was temporarily closed.
"You never know these days but I guessed it was probably Covid-related."
The store should reopen later today.
