Driver banned after police catch him having taken cannabis
A VILLAGER has been banned from driving for a year after being caught having taken cannabis.
Keiran Lee Gibbons, 25, was in court to admit the offence which happened in Oakwood Avenue, Otterbourne, on May 27.
Gibbons, of Blackthorn Green, Colden Common, had a cannabis reading of 4µg/L, double the legal limit of 2µg/L.
As well as a 12-month ban, magistrates in Basingstoke fined Gibbons £200 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
