Marvin Naylor on the High Street
SIR: In response to some negative comments on local social media, regarding me playing at The Buttercross in Winchester on Saturday, November 7, unless someone can suggest a way for me (or any other buskers) to coax people to our homes, we are unable to 'work at home'.
Someone playing the guitar on the street is no different from someone sitting on a bench or walking or cycling; activities we are all allowed to do for however long we wish. Plus, we are - I hope - providing passers-by with some much needed light-relief.
