SAINTS lost James Graham from tonight's game with a head injury - but coach Kristian Woolf is hopeful that the veteran prop will be able to finish his career with a Grand Final appearance.

He went off in the first half of the bruising semi-final game with Catalans Dragons - and failed a head test and did not return for the remainder of the game.

Whether he is passed fit to play will depend on clearing tests this week.

It is a mandatory seven day absence, which would expire on Thursday - provided he passes subsequent tests in the week.

Woolf said: "It was disappointing to lose James Graham - I haven't spoken to the doctor to find out why he failed his HIA. The doctor will have been making sure he looks after him.

"There is a seven day protocol with concussion, so provided he gets through that protocol he will in line to play next week."

Graham, who was able to do post-match television interviews, will be looking to add to his 2006 Grand Final ring and sign off his career in style.
