A WINCHESTER man has been fined for sending voicemail messages to a woman.

Antoni Chamiel, 41, of Fromond Road, Weeke, admitted sending 12 messages of an "indecent or grossly offensive" character to the woman in the Alresford area between December 5-8 2019.

Chamiel must take part in an accredited programme for 32 sessions for building better relationships and a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 25 days.

Magistrates also imposed a restraining order banning Chamiel from going to Colebrook Field, Ropley, near Alresford. The order will last to November 1 2021.

They also fined him £40, a surcharge to fund victim services of £95 and costs of £40 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
