A WINCHESTER man caught drug driving has been banned from the roads.

Hardip Singh Sandhu was caught drug driving on Portswood Road, Southampton, on March 29.

The 44-year-old was found to have THC - a breakdown product of cannabis - in his blood.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drug driving.

Sandhu, of Colden Common, Winchester, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £300.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.
