A WOMAN has been assaulted in the hallway of a block of flats in Southampton.
The incident happened at Summers Court, St Mary's Street.
Officers were called after a woman was assaulted in a communal hallway at the property between 8.30pm and 9.45pm on Saturday.
A 28-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has since been released from custody but remains under investigation.
Police are now keen to speak to anyone who may have information to help with their enquiries.
They say they are particularly keen to hear from a delivery driver who they believe was outside the property at the time of the assault.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Were you in or near the communal hallway between 8.30pm and 9.45pm on 14 November?
