RESIDENTS are being asked to report any flooding to allow cases to be dealt with quicker.
Eastleigh Borough Council have put out the request after rain and high winds resulted in heavy leaf fall over the weekend.
Because of this, drains in certain areas are being blocked, causing floods across the borough.
The council says it has all its sweepers out working and if residents report issues as soon as they notice it, the issues can then be dealt with quickly.
A council spokesperson said: "If there is a problem with leaves blocking drains in your area residents are advised to report the issue through the Council’s customers services team.
"This will help to identify any problem areas quicker and enable the council to plan and redirect some of its resources to deal with any localised flooding problems."
