TEST Valley villager Thomas Rae has been fined more than £1,000 for drink driving, criminal damage and threatening behaviour.
Rae, 32, of Church Lane, Houghton, near Stockbridge, was caught driving a 63-reg Audi S3 over the alcohol limit by police on Church Lane on October 18, magistrates in Basingstoke heard. His alcohol reading was 42 when the legal limit is 35.
Rae also admitted damaging a door valued at £1,000 belonging to Peter Rae at a property in Church Lane on October 18 as well as threatening behaviour in towards Mr Rae in Houghton on November 1.
The magistrates ordered he pay £1,000 compensation for the damage, fined him £160, as well as paying a victim surcharge of £34 and £40 prosecution costs.
Rae was banned from driving for 12 months. The disqualification will be cut by three months if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State by June 1 2021.
A restraining order was imposed banning Rae was going to the property in Church Lane.
