JUST what has been hiding under all of that ivy?
Work at Bishop's Waltham Palace is uncovering "long forgotten" details of the West Tower.
Contractors for English Heritage have been on-site removing the overgrowth.
Local photographer Penny Copeland said: "Building Conservation Solutions have been removing ivy from the West Tower to reveal long forgotten details.
"They have abseiled down the walls. Other works by Paye contractors this year included experimental wildflower capping on the Palace perimeter walls.
"Works next year will include scaffolding to allow repointing of the stonework."
The Chronicle has contacted English Heritage for further details on the work.
