Roadworks on the A340 Main Road by Tadley Hill have been cancelled
ROADWORKS set to take place on the A340 Main Road by Tadley Hill have been cancelled.
Hampshire County Council was due to shut the A-road in both directions from Thursday, November 19 to Tuesday, November 24.
But Hampshire Highways announced on Twitter that the works have now been postponed.
They added that “unfortunately” no date has been confirmed for the works to take place.
The road was due to shut to allow the County Council to resurface the carriageway.
The official diversion route would have taken drivers approximately one hour and two minutes to follow the 34 mile route.
The Council has since removed the diversion route from their website.
