Remembrance commemorations in Romsey were very different this year.
On Armistice Day, November 11, only civic chiefs attended a stripped back event, due to the pandemic and lockdown.
Romsey Town Council told the Advertiser:
The Mayor of Romsey Cllr Janet Burnage, Deputy Mayor of TVBC, Cllr Mark Cooper and the Chairman, of Romsey Extra Parish Council Cllr John Parker attended the Memorial Park on Armistice Day and laid a wreath in memory of all those soldiers who gave their lives for us.
