FIREFIGHTERS from Romsey raced to a warehouse to tackle a leaking chemical drum.
Crews from Romsey, Winchester, Havant, Cosham, and Southsea, were alerted at 6.45pm to the leaking 200L chemical drum at a warehouse in Ackworth Road, Hilsea.
It is reported about 15L had leaked from the drum, which was discovered on its side by firefighters.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said the drum was "righted and put into a chemical overdrum" by the crews.
They added: "The scene was made safe, and three casualties were discharged at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service."
The stop message came in at 8.45pm on Friday (October 23).
