A WINCHESTER man has been ordered to get treatment for his alcohol problem after he threatened a police officer.
Jamez Robert John Mariner, 45, was arrested in Staple Gardens, near his home, after making threats to PC Raystrick and being in possession of bladed article, a pair of scissors without good reason, on September 23.
Magistrates in Basingstoke fined him £100 and ordered he pay a £95 victim surcharge and £50 costs.
They also imposed a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement for nine months and ordered Mariner to undertake a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days.
