A YOUNG boy was spotted with a knife near Black Dam Ponds yesterday.
The boy, believed to be between the ages of 10 and 12, was spotted by members of the public out in the park, who called the police.
Hampshire Constabulary have said they are investigating the incident and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force also told The Gazette that one of the members of the public approached the child and asked him to hand the knife over to him.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon (Monday, September 21).
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "Enquiries are ongoing. If anyone has any information about this incident, they should call 101 and quote reference 44200366767."
