SIR: I am sure that most people in and around Winchester are aware that the new Winchester Hospice is well underway to opening next year.
Like all charities it has suffered during this pandemic. I have been helping to fundraise and my main event is a Bridge/Tea afternoon. Obviously I am unable to run it this year, but am suggesting that all those online bridge players out there, donate table money to the hospice. It can be any amount and played anytime and if you have video facilities, why not enjoy cake and cuppa or even wine at the end of the bridge session.
