This caused travel misery for many as roads were blocked.
The emergency services were even out unblocking drains.
A weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued by the Met Office today.
It could see more rain hit the city this afternoon.
The warning is in place between 11am and 8pm.
The Met Office says: “Heavy showers and thunderstorms could bring some disruption, especially to transport.”
