THUNDERSTORMS are expected to continue hitting Southampton and Hampshire for four days from today.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning of thunderstorms for the city, with a risk of heavy rain, flash flooding, hail and lightning.
It is set to hit many areas across the UK following the heatwave, reaching Manchester, Devon and London.
The impact level has been increased to high, meaning there could be dangerous driving conditions, flooding of homes and businesses and a chance of damage to buildings.
Thunder is set to hit Southampton from 7pm to 9pm tonight.
For the rest of Hampshire, the Met Office expects the thunder to continue until 10pm.
However the temperatures will stay relatively warm in the city, at 27 degree highs and 17 degree lows.
The sun looks set to come back out on Monday (August 17).
