A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man was shot in Andover.
James Nash, 42, from Upper Enham, sustained serious head injuries following the shooting outside his home. Officers were called to the address at 3.01pm on Wednesday 5 August.
Children's author and artist Cllr James Nash, 42, died at Southampton General Hospital on (Saturday, August 8), police have confirmed.
Police said James was shot in the head during an incident on MacCallum Road in Upper Enham on Wednesday afternoon.
The Cllr's death is now being treated as a murder investigation.
Enquiries to establish the circumstances of what happened are ongoing.
