A BUSINESS is bucking the trend to open a new store in Winchester city centre.
Tom Howley Kitchens are launching its new showroom on Jewry Street on Saturday August 1.
The extensive showroom will showcase six different designs from the Tom Howley offering of luxury kitchens including the Hartford style which accounts for 80 per cent of the company's sales, in a brand new colourway, Periwinkle. All Tom Howley kitchens start at £20,000.
All the cabinetry is handcrafted in Glossop and Howley has showrooms in Alderley Edge, Altrincham, Beaconsfield, Brentwood, Bristol, Cambridge, Chelsea, Cheltenham, Edinburgh, Esher, Guildford, Harrogate, Islington, Leamington Spa, Tunbridge Wells, London.
This will be its first in Hampshire. The showroom is in the former premises of Wilds Sports.
In recent weeks city centre businesses such as River Cottage, the City Cobbler and Starbucks have closed permanently.
