OWSLEBURY residents have been treated to an ex-straw-dinary couple of weeks.
The village's first Scarecrow Trail has lined the streets since July 18 – and it's there to stay until Sunday July 26.
More than 30 straw or 3D characters, based on nursery rhymes and fairy stories, can be found along Main Road from The Ship Inn to Owslebury Bottom.
The trail is a Covid-safe replacement for this year's summer fete, which was cancelled as part of social distancing rules.
Maps highlighting the location of each scarecrow cost £5.
There is a prize for the entrant who correctly guesses the most themes – with a tie breaker question if there is a draw for first place.
Visitors can also vote for their favourite scarecrow.
