WESTQUAY has launched a new feature on its website to help customers plan their visit, so they know how to beat the crowds.
The "Crowd Checker" feature has now been launched which provides shoppers with live updates on how busy the centre is in real-time, so they know the best times to shop.
Customers will be presented with four statuses on the new feature and these are as followed:
- Now is a great time to visit the centre
- Now is a popular time to visit the centre
- The centre is really popular right now, allow extra time
- Centre closed, plan when it's best to visit
The latest status will be clearly displayed at the top of Westquay's homepage.
Laura Read, General Manager at Westquay, believes this will make shopping easier and simpler for customers.
She said: “While we work hard to manage footfall throughout the day to make sure everyone can social distance easily, we know that some customers prefer to visit their favourite stores when the centre is at its quietest.
"We’re always looking at how we can make life easier and simpler for our customers, and Crowd Checker is a great example of that, as it enables shoppers to check how popular the destination is in live time before they visit, so they can plan their trip."
