Visitors to one of the county's most popular country parks can now once again enjoy its food services.

Itchen Valley Country Park has announced that the Woodland Cafe has reopened and will be selling food to visitors, including baguettes, wraps, cakes, drinks and ice cream, as well as a selection of hot food.

While the park is always popular when the sun is out, to make trips more enjoyable, residents can now make use of the takeaway food service, which reopened on Monday July 13.

A one-way queueing system is in operation, with visitors asked to follow the signs and maintain social distanced, and for the time being purchases will be card only.

As well as this the toilet block on the site is open from 10am until 3.30pm every day, and charges still apply in the car park, with gates closing at 8.30pm.
