FOUR men charged with the murder of a man in the Meon Valley a year ago are due to appear at crown court today (Friday).
The body of Gurinderjit Rai, a 41-year-old father-of-two from Eastleigh, was found in a car that was parked in Shepherds Farm Lane, Corhampton on July 13, 2019. He died as a result of shotgun wounds.
Earlier this week Corin Barlow, 40, Aston Hannis, 29, Charlie Statham, 30, and Paul White, 26, were charged with murder.
The four appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday) and are set to appear at Winchester Crown Court today.
Mr Barlow, of Lumley Road, Horley, Surrey, Mr Hannis, of Leah Gardens, Eastleigh, Mr Statham, of Crescent Close, Winchester, and Mr White, of Dyson Drive, Winchester, are remanded in custody until the hearing.
