A DRINK driver caught in Winchester city centre has been disqualified for two years.
Miguel Aponte, 29, of Jackmans Hill, Morestead, near Twyford, was stopped by police on the High Street on March 15, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.
His alcohol reading was 136 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35, making him four times the limit. He pleaded guilty.
As well as the 24-month ban, Aponte, who was present in court, was fined £320 with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
