A PERFORMING arts school in the Meon Valley has adapted to life during lockdown.

Roynon, based in Swanmore, now offers more than 60 online classes to its hundreds of students.

These are held on Zoom and feature more topics than before, with Samba drumming and other new lectures included.

Miss Sarah, who is celebrating her 10th year as principal, said: "It's great to see so many students - new and old - taking on the challenge of online learning. We pride ourselves in nurturing and developing dancers, musicians and other performers of all ages and abilities.

"Despite the real life pressures we face, the arts are more important than ever, to help student wellbeing and maintain a sense of community.

"Roynon welcomes any enquiries and, with the current climate meaning classes are online only, anyone from absolutely anywhere can now become a part of the Roynon family."
