MYSTERY surrounds the death of a Winchester man who was found hanging.
Thomas Huntley, 54, was discovered at his West Hill home on May 29 after police entered the property.
Opening the case, area coroner Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp said she is unsure of the exact circumstances and will need to find out more before a full inquest is held.
A post mortem report by pathologist Dr Adnan Al-Badri states the preliminary cause of death as hanging.
A pre-inquest review will be held on September 15.
This a hearing before the coroner where the interested persons seek to plan for the final inquest.
