MEDSTEAD woman Debra Barnes has been banned from driving for a year.
Barnes, 63, of Hattingley Road, was stopped by police on Winchester Road in Alton on December 11 last year.
Her alcohol reading was 60mg per 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
She admitted the offence and initially pleading not guilty. Barnes was not present in court to hear magistrates in Basingstoke fine her £120 with a £32 victim surcharge and £100 costs.
The 12-month ban will be cut by 13 weeks if Barneshe passes an approved driving course by January 4 2021.
