SIR: With the pending reopening of the shops in Winchester High street and surrounding areas, I am sure we are all going to surprised how few may actually restart.
Should it not be the time and bold in decisions that will need to be made to assist businesses and keep the area alive and vibrant.
A bold thought for our councillors, any premise in an area surrounding and including the High Street that has a Business Rate Grade in section A (Retail) should be assessed at zero for five years.
