EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a two-car crash near Andover.
The incident took place at the junction between Red Rice Road and Fullerton Road, just before 5pm.
Police say that the collision ‘appears to be between a Ford Fiesta and a Volvo XC60’ with an ambulance and the fire service also at the scene.
No injuries are said to have been reported so far.
One witness reported seeing a car that had rolled onto its side and a ‘smashed up’ Ford at the scene.
Traffic is understood to be passing through safely, with the vehicles not encroaching on the main road.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police told the Advertiser: “We were called at 4.51pm today (June 4) to reports of a collision on Fullerton Road, at the junction with Red Rice Road.
“The collision appears to be between a Ford Fiesta and a Volvo XC60. Ambulance and fire are also on scene, no injuries have been reported so far.
“This is an ongoing incident and these are the only details I have at this time."
