HEALTH services across north and mid Hampshire are set to undergo their biggest modernisation programme in 50 years as multimillion-pound plans take shape.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT), which runs Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals, has announced a new programme to deliver a joined-up healthcare system across the region, the centrepiece of which will be a brand new hospital to serve the area.

However, a location for the new hospital is yet to be decided, and the Trust is now asking the public, staff and stakeholders for their views on where the new hospital should be built, as well as wider views on the plans.
