A SPECIAL musical tribute has been created in memory of a much-loved Winchester musician.

Tim Pride, 55, died suddenly at his home in Badger Farm in early April, shocking the cathedral community where he had been a lay clerk, a member of the choir since 1985.

In recent years he had managed the Kingsgate Wines and Provisions on Kingsgate Street.

Until the lockdown ends and a memorial service can be held, the Cathedral choir, plus former choristers and lay clerks, have united to make a musical tribute and performance of English composer William Harris' beautiful 'Bring Us, O Lord God' to celebrate Tim's life.
