TWO more people have died in Hampshire in the last 24 hours after testing positive for coronavirus.
Figures released by the NHS revealed that the death toll is now 585, up from 583 yesterday.
The figures cover University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), Solent NHS Trust, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
At University Hospital Southampton, a total of 185 have died after falling ill with the virus, with no increase since yesterday.
At Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, no further patients have died with a total of 155 deaths.
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 17 patient deaths, again, with no new recorded deaths.
At Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a total of 222 people have died after testing positive with coronavirus, which has risen by one in the last 24 hours.
