A MAN who pretended to be a teenage girl has pleaded guilty to having indecent images of young boys.
James Utting has pleaded guilty to posing as a 15-year-old girl on social media.
The 36-year-old got young boys to send him indecent images of themselves.
The victims who were from locations around the UK including Southampton were between eight and 16-years-old.
On some occasions, Utting asked the victims to send more photos.
But if they refused, he threatened to share the images with their friends and family.
He will appear before Winchester Crown Court for sentencing on June 5.
The defendant of St Michael's Road, Aldershot, has admitted 43 offences relating to dates between Friday, June 5.
He has further admitted 116 offences to be taken into consideration.
The offences include:
Causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
Causing a child to watch or look at an image of sexual activity
Distributing an indecent image of a child
Possessing an indecent image of a child
Engaging in sexual communication with a child
Utting has been remanded in custody until his appearance at Winchester Crown Court on Friday.
