HAMPSHIRE County Council has made a tribute to Winchester Hospital staff that cannot be missed.
The Highways department have painted 'Thank You NHS' on Romsey Road, either side of the front entrance.
Work was completed overnight and the messages were designed in large white letters, much like regular road markings.
The council tweeted: "A special sign of appreciation for NHS and care workers hands as Hampshire Highways paint these messages on the approach to hospitals and care homes in Hampshire to thank them for all they are doing on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus. #thankyoucareworkers #thankyouNHS."
Similar paintings can be seen near hospitals and care homes across the county.
