COLDEN Common Parish Council is warning residents about a company making "unsolicited approaches".
A resident has contacted the parish office raising concerns about the a garden maintenance company which is based nearby.
They say staff have been drumming up trade and knocking on doors in and around Piping Green.
A spokesperson said: "Reports are that they are approaching elderly residents and asking for cash payment. The resident was also concerned that they were not following social distancing rules.
"Please do not accept unsolicited approaches for works. Please let any vulnerable neighbours know and if you have any concerns ring 101."
