STAGECOACH is showing its support for NHS workers across the UK by displaying messages of support on electronic destination boards.
These will be displayed when vehicles are out of service, promoting messages such as ‘Protect the NHS’, ‘#StayHome’ and ‘#SaveLives’.
Not only do these messages support those key workers who are continuing to do their jobs in order to keep the country running safely, they also encourage the rest of the public to follow the government guidance to stay at home.
Edward Hodgson, Managing Director of Stagecoach South, said: “We must show support to our brave NHS teams in any way we can. I would like to thank them for everything they are doing to keep us safe during these unprecedented times.
“I would also like to thank everyone at Stagecoach South who are continuing to work each day to support the local community and keep everyone connected. I am extremely proud of their exemplary professionalism and hard work.”
Stagecoach South is still running a reduced service, with employees continuing to work every day to provide vital transport links across the south.
