A FURTHER 367 who tested posted for coronavirus have died in England, bringing the known death toll to 1,651.
This includes one patient being treated by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This means ten people have now died after being treated at either Basingstoke, Andover or Winchester hospital.
Patients were aged between 19 and 98 years old and all but 28 patients (aged between 19 and 91 years old) had underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
On March 30, there was 22,141 confirmed coronavirus cases, but today there are 25,150, an increase of 3,010.
As of today, 143,186 have been tested for Covid-19 of which 25,150 tested positive.
There have been 135 recoveries, according to WHO.
It comes after the first NHS worker has died from coronavirus.
It was reported that Dr El-Hawrani who worked at Queen's Hospital in Burton, Leicester, had died from the virus.
And Michael Gove, Minister for the Cabinet Office, said the coronavirus lockdown will be in place for a "significant period" and could last longer if people do not stick to the rules.
Hampshire still has the second highest amount of cases outside of London, with 498.
Birmingham is overtaking Hampshire with 578 confirmed cases.
The regional breakdown on today’s figures is not yet known.
