A WINCHESTER law firm has joined forces with Hampshire Fare giving members the chance to discuss their business challenges and personal queries.

Trethowans LLP are supporting the local food group through the new partnership and will attend bespoke seminars and events.

Marcus Thorpe, partner, agricultural and rural property, Trethowans, said: “We are looking forward to developing a strong, working partnership with Hampshire Fare. We have a ‘no-nonsense’ approach towards legal matters that should suit Hampshire Fare’s members and their businesses. Trethowans has more than 60 specialist lawyers, who have expertise in virtually every field including mine!”

Tracy Nash, Hampshire Fare commercial manager, added: “We are hugely enthusiastic about this new partnership which will benefit our members. Trethowans are a really good fit with Hampshire Fare as they have considerable expertise in relevant sectors including farming, hospitality and the food and drink industry.

“This is a dynamic and approachable law firm and I am confident that the firm’s fresh approach to legal advice will appeal to our members and provide great value. We have agreed to work together on a three-year Corporate Friend basis. This agreement will include a series of items on legal advice supplied by Trethowans and distributed through our monthly members’ newsletters as well as a programme of members-only seminars.”

Hampshire Fare is a not-for-profit membership organisation working with nearly 400 local producers, retail and hospitality venues committed to sourcing locally. It fosters members’ development through business opportunities, events, routes to markets, and marketing and publicity.
