The circus came to Twyford St Mary’s to give youngsters the chance to entertain the local community and become global citizens.
From reducing plastic waste to donating food for local people, pupils at Twyford St Mary’s Primary School have been working hard to take their place as global citizens.
This time it was time for them to put on a grand show: The Twyford Circus, entertaining so many from the local community.
A group of 12 mainly year 5 children – Chloe Hutchin, Pippa Greig, Angus Everest, Zac Bernstein, Bella Williams, Tanya Wheately, Venne Barker, Iris Ince, Saul Ferris, Zara Faizi, Annabelle Sollom and George Lucas have been working hard since September on rehearsing for the second annual children’s circus.
Acts included a magic show, street dance, gymnastics, comedy sketches and the diabolo.
The circus was performed at a packed Twyford Parish Hall and in total the event raised just under £600.
The money raised from the performance will be split evenly between the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre and Twyford St Mary’s school.
