FIREFIGHTERS were called to Winchester Prison to deal with a “minor incident” this morning.
Two crews from Winchester and another from Eastleigh attended the prison in Romsey Road at 8.16am.
A fire service spokesperson said: “It was a very minor incident and there was no action needed by the crews.”
No further information could be provided due to the scene to nature of the location.
Crews were stood down by 8.36am.
