A WINCHESTER man has been disqualified from the road for three years after being arrested by police.
Ibiahim Alkhalil Kazane, 30, of Wykeham Way, Abbotts Barton, was stopped by officers on Battery Hill in Stanmore on February 14. His alcohol reading was 62 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
Magistrates imposed s community order for 15 days of a drink impaired drivers programme with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 10 days.
There was also a £90 victim surcharge and £20 costs. The three-year ban will be cut by 274 days if Kazane passes an approved course by April 1 2022.
