THE Naomi House and Jacksplace lottery saw one lucky lady win a brand new car.

Beal’s Estate Agents and Richmond Motor Group had donated an MG3 hatchback for the grand prize which was claimed by Sheila Russell from Southampton.

Sheila said: "You don’t expect to win, you buy the tickets but never expect to actually win.

"I lost my husband last year and it was always his dream to win a brand new car, so to receive the phone call from Naomi House was completely amazing.

"I don’t drive, so I am going to try and sell the car and give some of the money to my children and maybe have a little holiday."

This was the second time that Richmond Motor Group had supported the charity in this way.

Representative Thomas Cullen said: "We were pleased to see the car go to such a worthy winner.

"The charity is a cause very close to our hearts so we made sure we helped sell as many tickets as possible by touring the car around the local area, including shopping centres and local events.

"We hope Mrs Russell enjoys relaxing on a well-deserved holiday with her family and are delighted to have supported Naomi House and Jacksplace again; something we hope to do so again in the future.”

John McGilveray from Beal’s Estate Agents added: "It was a pleasure to be able to support Naomi House and Jacksplace for another year by providing the car for their Christmas Bumper Draw.

"As we are a local company, we like to make sure we are supporting local charities, as you never know when you or someone you know may need their vital services.

"Congratulations to Mrs Russell; we hope this will encourage even more people to play the Naomi House charity lottery as there are some incredible cash prizes up for grabs – the next winner could be you!"
