A MAN caught drink driving on a motorbike has been banned from the roads.
Jacob David William Smith was caught drink driving on a Honda CBR 125 on Northern Parade, Portsmouth, on January 18.
The 25-year-old had 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Smith, of Heritage Way, Gosport, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £330.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £33 and court costs of £85.
