FIREFIGHTERS rushed to rescue a dog after its leg became trapped under a car in Southampton yesterday.
Hightown Fire Station were alerted to the seven-month-old Collie dog at 6.56pm after it became stuck in White's Road, Bitterne.
An animal rescue advisor attended the scene and the puppy was freed at 7.49pm.
The owner has now taken the canine to a vet to be checked.
