EMERGENCY services rushed to cut a man free from his car after crashing into a ditch in Southampton last night.
Firefighters from St Mary's were alerted to the "single vehicle collision" at 8.55pm, which happened in Mountbatten Way, according to a spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
However, Hampshire police have reported they were called to a "two vehicle collision involving a BMW and a Honda".
South Central Ambulance Service attended the scene and it is not known if the man suffered any injuries from the single-vehicle collision.
Firefighters left the scene at 9.54pm.
South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
