A WINCHESTER man has been jailed for a racially aggravated assault and been condemned for “disgusting behaviour”.

Jack Brambleby, 29, of Mountbatten Court, Weeke, has been jailed for 14 weeks. He admitted attacking Narayan Fisher in Winchester on January 28.

The court register said the offence was so serious because it was a deliberate attack and was “aggravated by disgusting behaviour.”

Brambleby was also told to pay £100 compensation but was spared a victim surcharge or costs.

He also admitted using abusive racist language in the same incident when barred by a criminal behaviour order and another offence of being drunk and disorderly in Birmingham on October 21 last year.
