COMMUTERS are currently facing delays as buses are causing congestion at Winchester rail station.
Stagecoach has said that a number of its routes are affected due to the rail replacement buses as Network Rail continues to work on the train which derailed outside of Eastleigh yesterday.
The bus operator said that service 5 and 66, along with park and ride routes are “experiencing delays in and out of this area”.

Train passengers have also faced disruption today with cancellations and disruption across the south.
A statement from Network Rail issued last night said: “We are sorry for the continued delays to services through Eastleigh station, following a derailed freight train.
"Specialist teams have been on site throughout the day and we are in the process of removing the freight vehicles.
“Once clear, track assessments will commence and repairs will be made throughout Wednesday 29 January with the aim of recommencing services through the station from Thursday 30 January.
“Services on the London Waterloo to Weymouth, Southampton and Winchester line will be severely disrupted on 29 January 2020.”
The large freight train derailed from the tracks at Eastleigh Station at 11.32am yesterday.
