WHAT is worse in Winchester, the quality of the roads or the volume of traffic?
That was the question we put to our readers – and the majority said the potholes.
A poll on the Hampshire Chronicle Facebook page attracted 154 votes and it was close, with the final results ending at 83 to 71.
One commenter expressed his anger at the quality of the surface of Chilbolton Avenue, saying it should be resurfaced.
Another said: "Try cycling at night and you'll quickly realise the traffic is not the concern."
Others suggested that if there was less traffic, there would be fewer potholes.
