A TEENAGE driver has been banned from the road for refusing to give a specimen of breath to the police.
Poppy Wheway, 19, was stopped by officers on December 27, magistrates in Basingstoke were told.
Wheway, of Fair Lane, Morn Hill, was present in court to plead guilty to the charge.
Magistrates disqualified her from driving for 16 months and fined her £120, as well as ordering her to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
The ban will be reduced by 16 weeks if she passes a course by November 23 2020.
